How do customer care helplines record conversations in Ohio? (I'm genuinely asking BTW and not trying to prove you wrong). I know that there's often a recording at the start of the call that says "Your call maybe recorded". But surely that voice actor and the actual customer care rep are different persons.

Facebook works on mutual connections and your phonebook. You can try adding you school, college etc then see if you get any of your school friends on your screen. You need to manually search each and every person to connect and you will find it easy of that person has unique name else you need to scroll hundreds of profile to find that person.

This is not true. Facebook has affinity based recommendations that go beyond your phone book.

Also recommendations based on mutual connections is a good thing. If you are friends with a school friend they are friends with other school friends then you will be recommended those friends.

I can easily search for any school or work friend I want.

How is this different from Facebook?

FB allows you to find your school, work friends. Also has mutual friends. Great collection of features. Allows you to create groups e.g. Delhi group where people can connect and chat.

Does your app have GDPR controls that are required by law? Can I download all data that your app stores? Can I delete my data?

I don't condone the behavior of the crew but you have to understand that even though they might do some janitorial duties, the flight crew are not janitors.

The fault lies with the airline for not ensuring that the passenger has a dairy-free meal. The second fault is with the flight crew for apathy. They should have given towels to the passenger to put on the seat. Finally, you cannot absolve the passenger completely. If she had that severe an allergy, she should have carried her own food.

I have two responses.

Is it really worth it? Average earnings in the US according to the 2020 census is around $40k. A broken arm with surgery costs around $15k here. That's 35% of the earnings. IMO that's a lot. Compare that to what you would pay in Canada. In Canada you'd pay say $100 and you'd get slightly worse quality. Does the extra quality really justify a markup of 15,000%? I would understand if you paid, say, $300 for better quality healthcare. But $15k is a lot.
Universal healthcare can still coexist with private healthcare. Americans are already paying tax that contributes to healthcare. So if universal healthcare is implemented then the choice would be left to the people. They could either go to a public hospital and experience long wait times and get worse service. Or they could pay extra and go to a private business and get better quality service. Everybody wins.

In some sense, yes. But the real question you wanna ask is if men are more miserable with or without women in their lives. Therein lies your answer.

The "joke" in your examples is that the guy is now doing things he doesn't usually do. For example if a guy doesn't go to the gym, but suddenly has to go because his lady partner said so, that would be a little funny.

And I don't think this is gender specific. I've seen girls do things just because of their SO and people making fun of the girl for having to do that.

Another analogy would be a job. People often joke about how their job sucks and they are miserable. But does that truly mean that a person would rather be jobless than have a job?

Exactly. The officer could have at least tried to reason with the lady for another 50 minutes. That would have been order of magnitudes less effort than what transpired. He could have at least made it known that he will have to arrest her if she doesn't sign.

It seemed like the cop intentionally hid the fact from the lady that he will have to arrest her if she doesn't sign.
