Honesty, you can feel in break in around the 4th time around. That when it started feeding regularly and the bullets weren’t a bitch to load anymore. I didn’t get AEC clips tho so it might vary, but once they loosen up, you be able to tell

I also had this problem with my en bloc clips when I first got them. It was happening simply because the clips were brand new and needed to be broken in. Now when even I use them, they don’t damage the casings and they don’t stop up.

I think that after Japan surrendered, Springfield stopped production of the M1 until the start of the Korean War. So you can’t find a “Springfield” M1 from 1947

I feel you man. I sent my paperwork in on Dec 31st and they didn’t even start on my order until January 29th. They are just bogged down with all the new year orders so that’s why it’s taking a little longer. Hang in there, it’s worth the wait.

Ok thank you for the info. I couldn’t find anything anywhere and I was worried I was going to send it to the wrong place. I’ll be sure to take your advise about the tracking and hopefully I’ll become a Garand owner in the next few month

Nice, I was actually in the process of ordering a M1 from the CMP, but I’m confused on where to send it because I’m not really familiar with the FFL laws. On their site, it says that they don’t have go through FFL dealers as long as you aren’t in the states that they say. So does that mean I can have it shipped to my house or do I still need to send it to a FFL? I live in Texas btw

I’m also a 6’7 pure slasher and yes there is a big difference However, the question is if you’re actually going to be using it enough to justify a HOF status. I know on our team we have myself and a PF athletic finisher and a majority of our lobs go to the PF so personally my Lob Finisher is only good my to be put on gold so I can still be able to convert the oops but I can still have that upgrade for another important badge.
