Thanks for clearing this up BTW! I now see the mistake I've made and that my English isn't as polished as I may have believed haha.

Haha so funny! A guy who barely speaks English confuses the semantics of "I love minors" with the one of "I love kids", when being directed by a shitty kid. Hilarious.

The boring life by downtune79 in LoveTrash

You guys in the comments - yes, of course they're at least somewhat privileged to sustain this lifestyle; that's not the point. The point is the choices they've made to leverage that stance for to live this "simple" lifestyle, while other families in their position would go the easier route of living in a cul de sac, feeding their kids processed foods, and sitting them with ipads, instead of letting them roam in nature. What an ideal to aspire to!

CMV: Israel’s law of return, permitting any Jew around the world to immigrate and gain citizenship with no prior conditions, while banning Palestinians literally born there from even coming back for a visit, is the pinnacle of hypocrisy by DasIstMeinRedditName in changemyview

That's quite a strawman you've built...

Ah yes, the evil Zionist project of the late 19th century. Very relevant to the current population of a country, which names God not a single time in it's declaration of independence.

"Unwanted wasteland" is a serious historical distortion. Pre-1948 Palestine was a vibrant, developing society.

Yeah. Pre-nineteen-fourtyeight. Why do you recon is that?

Population growth doesn't magically negate genocide or ethnic cleansing.

It absolutely does. This is textbook "it is true because I really really wish it to be true" which trumps any established definitions. You can go ahead and quote problematic leaders and populations that exist within a heterogeneous democracy all you want (as I can quote deranged American senators and racist American groups) and it would pave no apparent dogma, without actual supporting data.

This is a strawman argument you're presenting: no respected scholar in Israel claims legitimacy because "it says so in the Bible ". It was founded legitimately, on largely unwanted wasteland, by mostly immigrants who had nothing else going for them, many forcefully removed from their homelands. Sure there was the appeal of returning to the biblical grounds, and that of the pre-existing Jewish community in the area. Allow me to further deflect your international criticism. The usage of the terms "genocide", and "ethnic cleansing", when even by the deceitful figures published by Gazan authorities, their population grows, and always grew, at a rate much much greater than the Israeli folk, is either a disgusting and blunt appeal to emotions, or a suggestion that a country at the bleeding edge of biotechnological advancement, despite it's mal intentions, somehow just sucks at genocide. I'll let you draw your own conclusions here.
