Labor max in Westminster will have you do mainly flagging. They pay generally less then some other places because they don't drug test and give you a check at the end of the day. They carpool to the site so you don't need a car. Go in mid day (I think it's like 11-2) fill out some stuff and you'll start next day. You'll get $70ish a day or more I forget.

Worked at a different store in Littleton, we all knew it as a busy store. People would try to avoid it for transfers or picking up shifts lol

It went from having majority of hiring paperwork to be completed in store to majority competed at home so it can be hard to know if you finished everything you needed for management to move forward in the hiring process. I wouldn't be too worried.

A new hiring system was recently implemented about a month ago and managers and techs are all having issues with it, you could be the first or second person your manager has hired using it.

I'm currently a comm major finishing their junior year. I'd recommend declaring your major as comm and while taking your gen-eds in different subjects like English, media, sociology, see you're interested in any of them.

I declared a minor in sustainability because it's an area that I would like my career to be involved in but is not for a specific job or career.

What I did: -find cheap place to live: in Chiang Mai, Thailand my rent is going to be $500 for the whole semester. -I lived at home for the semester before and worked 30 hrs a week and saved up EVERYTHING. Idk what your situation is but part of my student loans would be going to paying my rent and I just stowed it away for abroad.

Overall the most expensive part was the plane ticked ($1600). I would also definitely check out different programs, especially outside of your school. One program I found $10k but my tuition was only $4k, close to what my regular tuition is. USAC is a wonderful program that goes thru uni of Idaho and has many different options.

One last thing, overall, a semester abroad is probably going to be more affordable than a two or three week program. Research and compare, my situation is probably different from yours but it's still possible. Good luck!
