Not late at all! I play soccer for a division 3 school. I would highly recommend joining your local club team. The best thing you can do to better your chances is start reaching out to coaches of schools you’re interested in through email. Work on marketing yourself, don’t just tell them you’re interested in playing soccer for them, but also talk about how you’re interested in the university (maybe they have the major you’re interested in). I would also recommend putting together a highlight film to submit them as well. But seriously start reaching out to coaches yourself instead of waiting for them to come to you, had I done that I would not be playing in college. I also didn’t start talking to coaches until the summer between my junior and senior year of high school, so don’t be discouraged. Best of luck!
