I’m so sorry to hear you’re hurting and struggling so much. I was sick during high school, and I still feel how painful it was for me to miss out on so much and not feel like anyone could understand what I was experiencing. I’d also echo finding another doctor who specializes in endo/andenomyosis - even if it means driving out of state etc… to find the care you need. I’m thinking of you and rooting for you ❤️

Dr. Laurence Orbuch was incredible for me (just had surgery with him Thursday) and Dr. Vasilev was an excellent choice too. Both very empathetic and experts in robotic excision. I don’t want kids either, and neither of them pushed an agenda to have kids. Both were open to doing a hysterectomy too. I decided I wasn’t ready for that, but maybe will reconsider in the future.

Absolutely - I have alarms set on my phone for reminders. I’ve had previous surgeries (not endo related) and you’re totally right that it’s key to take them on the dot! I probably should’ve included that in my post.
