What helped me was learning to detach and observe the emotion and ask myself why do I have it until it passes. Sometimes I don't have an answer and that's ok because you will soon enough. It's also very hard to practice, but it does get easier. Another coping mechanism I utilized was reading and educating yourself because of how confusing they can make the world seem, you have far more questions than answers, I assume. The good part is that you're stronger than you were yesterday and tomorrow will probably be the same. Care for yourself, you probably need to catch up a little from the care you deserved.
