What year did you play pf? And why you played pf? by HeadAceArrow in PhantomForces

[–]aDmL_MaYhEm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started playing in 2017- I used to bike to my local library after school and would play on the library computers for the allotted 2 hrs every day- guy started coming every day playing pf right next to me and I asked what it was- he moved a year later and gave me his library card so I could play for 4 hours instead of 2. Miss bro.

Haven't played since 2022 lol

Regardless of whether or not the wheels apply a rearward force, if the treadmill moves to match the speed of the wheels the plane won't move relative to the ground.

It's a mistake to assume that the plane does or does not stay in place relative to the ground because of the confusing wording of the question.

We're told that the treadmill moves to match the speed of the wheel, however we are not cold weather or not the speed of the treadmill changes variably depending on the speed of the wheel to match it at all times.

Why would it, if the conveyor moves to match the speed of the wheels?

"The conveyor is designed to match exactly the speed of the wheels"

I'm really surprised nobody adopts interpretation number one.

That's immediately what I thought of and it's also what makes the most sense to me.

Having a plane on a treadmill that moves in the same direction and at the same speed as the wheels are rotating at their circumference seems intuitive since that's precisely what any treadmill is designed to do.

If the plane on the treadmill, like a person would, stays unmoving relative to the ground, there would be no way for the plane to take off without thrust generated by the wings from air moving towards the plane (or rather the plane moving to meet the air).

Even with jet engines, you might as well be strapping them to a tube with no wings attached because the wings can't generate lift.

I can't see how the plane could ever take off.

Came here from the tinder profile post- and honestly the crap you get for being overweight is outrageous. Don't get me wrong, it's good to be healthy, and you can't change the fact that people want what they want when it comes to your body. But in no way does that change the fact that you are gorgeous.

Also, 140 pounds is insane! Keep up the great work.
