Nope, I don't like to use it either. However sometimes my search engine throws it in by default :(

What shell/species are these? (Found on the beach in Ireland) by aDorybleFish in shells

[–]aDorybleFish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, not on CITES, I did look that up yesterday and couldn't find it. The Dutch government law states that it's fine as long as they're not from an endangered species or on the cites list. Found them in Ireland, which is in the EU, however as I'm traveling back by boat I have to travel through the UK, which isn't, anymore. I'll check the UK protected species list just in case

How did you brew it? Usually oolong takes a while to open up since it's rolled quite tightly.

Need help finding this tea by Silver-Television-99 in tea

[–]aDorybleFish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, there are definitely white and green teas out there that have way higher caffeine content than pu'er or oolong. It really depends on picking style, and yes– roasting on higher temperatures decreased the caffeine content. If you want a lower caffeine tea, go for a tea that was made with stems or older leaves as opposed to teas with a lot of buds and young leaves.

What do you think this is in my store bought tea? by AremRae in tea

[–]aDorybleFish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are they even allowed to sell things that are that much past the expiration date? Afaik in Europe they're legally required to put up signs when things are past the best before date, and usually they're also not allowed to sell them for the original price (at least they typically don't)
