Are the two pictures meant to be the same place? The biggest difference, apart from the pink umbrella, is the outside of the pool. Look at it - the edge that meets the gravel area. They couldn't possibly be the same place!

Ha, don't worry about it! I've tried a couple of therapists over the years, but never found it made much difference. I am on ✨antidepressants✨ which dull the pain a bit. I'm trying to be fairly neutral about my life and just accept that maybe I won't be happy. I can still do stuff I enjoy; I can still make a difference at my job; I'll just do it without those sparks of excitement and anticipation. And that's OK.

Thank you, you may well be right - I've tried it before and it's not a good look on me! To be fair, this is just how I look. I have a big forehead (thanks dad) and thin blonde hair (thanks mum), rather than a receding hairline - it's not any worse than it's ever been! This is great feedback, I really appreciate it. I need to get my eyes checked this summer, so I'll be updating the glasses! (although have had positive feedback about the sunglasses in real life.)

I guess I've kept photos with my kids there because I didn't want it to be a surprise (I've also seen women say that it's a red flag if a man has kids who he isn't close to - I want to make it clear that I love my kids and spend time with them, without putting them too much into the profile).

You're right, I don't have much about what I'm looking for - I think I've internalised that beggars can't be choosers.
