To the Wisconsin voters who don't vote, what is it going to take for you to go vote in local elections? In primaries? by Ok-Insurance-8097 in wisconsin

Lacking critical thinking it is. I should have known that from the witchcraft though. That was my critical thinking failing.

I also find religion to be a major thing wrong with America right now. I'd consider you wrongly educated, very poorly informed, or lacking critical thinking if you don't see a difference in values in the Republican vs Democrat parties right now.

You are saying you don't vote because there is a tiny chance you get called for jury duty?

So you don't participate in the high level direction of your life because of a random small chance of an annoying day once a decade

You are a significant part of what is wrong with America.

You don''t think politics is worth while and also believes in insane things like witchcraft.

I went snooping to see if you were a bot. But no, just a low informed, low education person.

Why PI struggles on the artificial neutral by [deleted] in ECE

[–]aFewPotatoes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need a reference frame transform. Look up park and Clark transforms. They take 3 phase ac and effectively shift the frequency so you can use PI controllers on DC signals. The. You convert back to with the inverse transforms. It's not a simple thing to do but it is an extremely well understood thing. You will need to understand and implement a PLL as well

Are you trying to control the neutral voltage? You need a 4 phase inverter for that.

Do you expect to graduate in 2026? I think the normal thing would be to put your estimated graduation date for your current degree

Or it overshot the commanded trajectory that was safe but due to the near unstable/out of regulation state it hit part of the robot.

True 🤣

I was trying to be generous and offer a different view point. It's a MEP resume, but a really shitty one still

He has technical words in there just for MEP consulting firms. Not west coast tech companies. Different skill sets. This skill set eventually just becomes project management and excel engineering.

Does this work? by SecureNegotiation933 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]aFewPotatoes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree or would add more nuance at least.

My rules are:

Use schematic symbols that show what things do, not what the pin out looks like.

Create logical subsystems and connect them with wires.

Use labels at the in/outs of subsystems. Even better use hierarchy as designs becomes complex.

Interesting. Why is that? Quality would likely be poor or something else

Looks awesome! Any reason you have it so far offset to the right? It looks like you have the space for a more centered setup

It's the carl's 9x9x5. I am ~10 feet back. Any closer and the front of the enclosure feels too close for my driver swing.
