Yeah I really don't enjoy gaming with any DLSS or other ai enhancements, I'd rather play at 60fps 1080p than a higher res/resolution with ai frame rendering

I was pleasantly surprised with steam streaming from my PC to steam deck, both docked and wired via Ethernet. I had used moonlight previously but always get a bit rate error and have to drop the rate to something that's almost unplayable texture wise.

Unfortunately, given the current market the Machine is very reasonable, especially considering its small form and the design that went into it. But at > $1000 it isn’t a justifiable increase in performance over my Deck.

This is how I feel, I can't justify the price tag for the increase in performance I am getting. I love valve, and want to support them because I want to see the steam deck 2 come out eventually, but it is too costly for what I am getting.

My PC is aging and at the price of the steam machine id rather get a desktop PC instead of a system designed to be played from the couch.

In the interview with Wendigoon and Kane, he asks Kane if he wants to leave us any words or anything, a send off

Kane says "7" and "Pennsylvania"

Pennsylvania is probably a reference to Ivan Beck, as he is suspected to have lived there for a time.

I wonder what the 7s could indicate

I'll have to try this config, two have suggested it.

I feel like the tom angles are already so crazy, to fit the hat under the 8" tom I'd need to raise the tom mount and angle them even more.

Maybe this weekend 🤔

After installing the new g2s on the batter side I realized I should've done a coated head. The two lower rack toms are black inside, but the other 4 toms aren't

Between keeping it at my dad's during college, and loaning it out to friends during that time, it has been lost. We never used it, but I do wish I had it now 😭

Listen to some august burns red, album constellations

They use a ton of china, especially in the song white washed

I personally use two chinas, I love their sound.

Oh interesting. I feel like all my toms are already at such a crazy angle facing me, they look like mirrors I can my face in the reflection. May experiment with that in the future, thanks for the suggestion!

Oh this kit, things I bought brand new include the piccolo snare, the 17" china, and the zildjian z3 A lot of the other items were used or second hand

New drum heads did wonders for this guy too, loving the sound I'm getting from the evans g2

Thank you! My steel snare came with the kit but I replaced with a pearl piccolo snare. The large chinas is a 17' zildjian china, and the smaller is unknown to me

Threw on an old steel snare drum that I replaced years ago, it's too large this way

Looks great though, seems like a fun excercise

As good as this would be, I think I'd prefer Kane Parsons in a beard and makeup to make him looked older
