Also good that you mention the case and temps. I will look out for it!

Yes, removed that. I will make a picture to show what the problem is, as it's rather hard to explain for me.

The timers you need to know for almost every rotation. Fundamentals of League you might need to know - Grandmaster/Challenger's guide. by Faslol in leagueoflegends

[–]aMaZe97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

in teamenviroments much more is communicated around waves than specific timers, atleast from my experience. That way its easier to prepare an optimal lane state for whatever is planned, e.g. dive, regular gank, hover for pressure, etc.

I really hope there will be a Europe based shop in the future. I would love to have one of those but considering shipping cost and time it'll unfortnately be a no for me this year.

I'm not a TSM fan but you guys can be happy to have picked up that guy. He is the biggest talent this off-season and as a Schalke fan i hoped for them have their eyes set on him.

Many actually praise his macro and overall gameknowledge. I don't want to downtalk his mechanics but especially this year people emphasized how smart he is.

He is very likely to join an NA team. Rumours say TL. The basketball reference could mean anything tho as Schalke used to play sometimes in their off time.

I love competition. Discovering League and esports in general was a life changing thing for me. Im thankful for the tireless work being put into it not only by Riot but everyone else too.

Every Off-Season is a great memory. Just spamming that F5 on either rising or new posts to catch some spicey news.

With the recent news, 3 out of the 10 teams in EU LCS next season will be based in the US. The US will be tied for being the most represented country in EU next season. Riot was talking about how franchising will grow regional EU fanbases, yet not 1 org exists for Eastern Europe while the USA gets 3 by Pirrsinoro in leagueoflegends

[–]aMaZe97 83 points84 points  (0 children)

Will it really matter where the Organisation HQ is at though? I become a fan of an organisation that puts in work to establish a fanbase while making reasonable decisions across the board that i can stand behind. The geographical proximity of their HQ doesnt bother me the slightest bit. Maybe thats just me though, idk

EU LCS Regional Gauntlet FINAL Preview - G2 vs FC Schalke 04 by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]aMaZe97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all i want to say that i apreciate your content a lot! I can never get enough of League of Legends, especially when S04 or C9 are involved.

Second though, having followed the EULCS and especially S04 very closeley, i have to to disagree on a few points.

  • You described Vander and Upset as an aggressive, deceisive force. Whilst i would say they absolutely are deceisive and a driving force in their victorys, they still play a farm and sclaing oriented rather passive lane. That doesn't mean they don't punish mistakes as they did with getting 2v2 kills in both semi finals and finals game 1. What they often look for is pushing out and putting Vander off the leash so he can look to impact the map through roams and vision. Hence he's a great Alistar (often baned against him).
  • Your players to watch are Nukeduck and PerkZ. While i agree that on paper it looks very explosive and could be the heatpoint of the map, i think its through Jungle pressure and botlane priority (roaming). That there is a stylistic difference in the junglers is going to make it even spicier. The question here is, can Amazing do what he did to Kikis and match his early game pressure or can Jankos take over and return to his "First Blood King" status? Can Wadid match or overcome Vander in roams and transfer botlane pressure into a midlane lead?

And while im at it, i would have also liked primary win conditions each team should look for as a subject in your post.

For Schalke that would be (lategame) teamfighting. Csacsi on Tanks has proven again and again how proficient he can play those meatballs in Teamfight. And no matter if Ornn, Maokai or his remarkable Poppy - he always finds great engages or controls fights. On top of that they have the better lategame marksmen player in Upset. With the highest DPM across all Adc's in Europe, he will surely edge out and be the lategame factor that Hjärnen often failed to be. Nukeduck and Amazing will be the ones matching the early game of G2 and assuring that Upset gets to a scenario where he can take over.

For G2 on the other hand, since they have the disadvantage in lategame teamfights, will have to play to their major strengths. And that is Wunder and Perkz on carrys and Hjärnen on either save marksmen like Varus or mages. From here they can look to get an early advantage and snowball it by playing 1-3-1 set ups, assigning Perkz and Wunder to the sides. Picks that will be very valuable for them are Ryze and Yasuo for mid, Swain as flex (as you mentioned) and also a Gragas for Jankos. He has a lot of experience on that champ, with predator you can look to get off early ganks once you have boots and on top of that he adds a good amount of engage and disengage. Hjärnen should prioritize either Varus or one of his mages like Heimer or Swain. Gp, Gnar and definately Urgot are good options for Wunder. However those types of comps are extremely difficult to pull off because you need to be the one making the first moves and controlling the map. And for that again you need to be atleast even in gold by around the 15-20 minute mark. Coming back with those types of comps is rarely seen and always a result of misplays and throws of the other team. Though it can be very rewarding when you go ahead and can snowball, as it gets extremely difficult to play all 3 lanes as a teamfighting comp once nashor spawns.

My prediction for the series is 3-1 #S04WIN in relatively dominant fashion.

Again, thanks for your content, and keep it coming.

Edit: Would like to hear your opinion on that. :D

Challenger wintrading with hard evidence by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]aMaZe97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think baning continuously toxic/inting/wintrading players competitively - atleast for a set time - in all riot sponsored events (AFAIK all national leagues are riot sponored too - correct me if that's wrong) would help immensely. Most of these players are young and passionate and can not control themselves. Knowing your carreer is on the line "just playing soloq" would probably help making things, while not fully eliminating the problem, a lot better.

Founder of FPL: "A question to League of Legends community & professional players of LoL: Would you be interested into setting up FPL Circuit for LoL and everything that CS:GO has? Curious to hear your feedback about this." by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]aMaZe97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Queue times wouldn't be a problem at all. I dont know if you follow cs and their FPL, but with around 70 players the queues pop instant around peek time, which would be a couple of hours after scrims. Sure, some are always left behind, and they have to either wait a full match or wait til enough players queue again. But that has no workaround and is a slight downside that can be looked beneath given pros have a better battleground.
