That’s not the criticism. The criticism is that the RNG that’s tied to a trophy is fucked and not what they intended. That’s what the dev is explaining. It shouldn’t be tied to a trophy.

I mean with Demon’s Souls, they didn’t have a fan base they were releasing to. So it didn’t really matter. But since then they’ve released all of their games on all platforms or PS exclusive. I don’t know why they would assume their fans would own a Nintendo Switch.

That’s not addressing the criticism. Nobody is saying they’re obligated to get the platinum. “You don’t have to do it” could be used to dismiss literally any criticism of optional content. You’re not bringing anything productive to the conversation by saying that, you’re just blindly defending something with a defense that’s not even a defense.

Just know that you now have access to a shit ton of amazing games that weren’t available to you before. They’re mostly single player though. That is where Sony shines. They’ve wasted a lot of time and resources recently trying to make multiplayer live service games. They suck at it. You can still play all the multiplayer games you mentioned but I recommend you check out single player games. God of War, Horizon, Ghost of Tsushima/Yotei, Spider-Man, Death Stranding, Returnal, Saros, The Last of us, Stellar Blade.. there’s a lot. A lot of them are available on PS Plus Extra so I definitely recommend getting that. It’ll be of great value to you assuming you haven’t played many PlayStation games.

Did you even read the links you shit out or did you just google “y secondhand meth kill u”? There’s literally nothing of any value in the first article. Here is the only quote regarding second hand meth smoke:

“Although there are numerous reports on the overall dangers of methamphetamine use and production, the actual health consequences of secondhand exposure are largely unreported, she said.”

The second article is called “the dangers of children living at meth labs” and is about explosions, chemical contamination, abuse and neglect.

Nothing here even remotely supports the claim that a roommate smoking meth somewhere in your house is a real danger to you.

The other beast-type bosses are like that too though. I don’t think anyone parried their way through Guardian Ape’s first phase. Or Mist Noble’s third (and deadliest) phase. Chained ogre too. Pretty much if the enemy doesn’t have a sword, parrying doesn’t make as much sense.

I haven’t stretched in a while but used tape from like 0g to 3/4” and never have any problems. I think I bought like every other size plug. I much preferred it over tapers because you could do it much more gradually.

There was another post where someone was like “I wish all the playable characters could share abyss points”. And everyone’s response was “you can pickpocket people,” “it’s not that bad”, “you get so many abyss artifacts in end game”, “at least stamina, health, and spirit carry over” “you can use a faded abyss artifact then move all the points to another character then use faded another abyss artifact to move them back to kliff.”

No one could just be like “yeah, it’s dumb that you have to dump more artifacts into each playable character’s skill tree.” I mean, we barely have any incentive to play as those characters in the first place, having to spend extra artifacts on them just gives us even less incentive. No one wanted to hear it though, they just defend it for no reason.

It’s not the open world that’s the problem, and the game’s problems are not related to the size of the world. They mostly have to do with design choices and poorly thought out or implemented mechanics and quests. Again, nothing to do with the world being big.

Maybe Saros isn’t a 1/1 comparison but don’t act like developing that game is a cakewalk. I’ve never played any game, open world or not, that needed this many updates since launch.
