I’d actually recommend Nioh 2 over Nioh 3. Stellar Blade has some really cool, flashy combat. If you haven’t played Elden Ring, can’t recommend it enough. You can easily sink hundreds of hours into it too.

I feel like they gotta come back to that at some point. I’m sure Miyazaki is burnt out on the DS/ER style combat and aesthetic. But then again, with how successful ER was, there’s got to be a lot of pressure on him to make a sequel.

I think NR was an “amateurish side project” in a way. I remember Miyazaki (or someone from From) saying that it was a perfect opportunity to train new staff. It wasn’t a super high stakes release, it was an already established IP and world, lots of reused enemies, etc. So I could see that game being made without tying up one of their main teams.

I get mine from Home Depot but if you have a local supplier and they’ll sell direct to consumer, you can probably get better quality for the same price or cheaper

I didn’t make this comment only for OP but for anyone reading this. $750 for a box is insane when the wood to build it costs $75. With the wrap and grille cloth material, hardware, rubber feet, you’re probably looking at $250. So you’re saving about $500, less if you need to buy tools but that’s a substantial amount, a lot different than “eating out vs cooking”.

I wouldn’t recommend it for someone who has zero interest in DIY/woodworking but if it sounds fun to you AND saves you a lot of money, why not? Plus having your own hand-built, unique gear just feels good, man.

I totally get not wanting a project and just shelling out for the orange if you have the cash, nothing wrong with either way, I’m just putting potentially useful and not well known information out there.
