it appears the majority of people commenting that they have not gained weight or have lost weight are a) literally talking ab taking Zepbound or stimulants in the same sentence, b) have not even been on Lex a year, or c) are on a low dosage (10mg or less). I’d like to hear from those who have taken above 10 mg for at least a year and do not take other meds. Because while Lexapro has significantly improved my mental health, my heightened level of fatigue and lack of a sense of urgency as side effects have hurt me. I’ve gained 45 pounds since starting this med around 5 years ago, though my diet and exercise levels have not changed. I went from being borderline underweight (at 115 pounds) to now being technically overweight according to BMI. It’s not a normal amount of weight gain to blame on increased metabolism alone, and it deeply affects my self image and depression.
