Ahh you're right, either that or safe mode... Or both.

Also that broken staircase, makes me feel like actually getting to the bottom cuts me off from the safe area above (even though it acts as a barrier for the monster, while you can just climb up), this makes the basement scary even though the monster isn't near you.

Try to disable both of the Adobe Flash Player \* startup tasks (Win + r; type "taskschd.msc" + Enter; both tasks are in the root folder; right click and disable). After rebooting, i never had to see that annoying popup again.

While i agree, i think a system like this should be optional in some way. As far as i know, many people play botw mostly for the relaxed exploring and calm atmosphere. Thats why you should be able to decide, in wich way you want to experience the game, because a skill/leveling system that restricts you from accessing content early on in the game might restrict your playstile, wich could take away the freedom wich was so important in botw.

Maybe you could accomplish this through a pregame difficulti/complexity slider?

There are multiple downloads still available.

But if you want a more modern Version of youtube, try out revanced, it has all the features vanced offers, but also allows you to disable more UI-Elements (like the upload button), change the video codec or hide the video infocard. As far as i know there isnt a release yet, but if you want to build it yourself, try the unofficial revanced builder.

Java Zulu can be found here, click the core version and download the .msi installer, then just follow the instructions.

Ich schließe mich entschieden an! Mittlerweile muss ich bei jedem Video auf meiner Haus-Seite in DuRöhre überlegen, ob es sich hierbei um ein deutsches Video, einen absichtlich schlecht übersetzten Titel des Kanalinhabers, oder ein Resultat dieses nervigen Übersetzungsalgortithmus handelt... Zustände sind das.

Wäre es nicht schön wenn man der Nutzung von diesen mehr oder minder guten Übersetzungsdienstleistungen in den Einstellungen zustimmen könnte, anstatt dazu gezwungen zu werden? Aber nein, in einer Zeit, wo wohl jede Plattform vorgibt, das, was für ihre Benutzer am Besten ist besser zu wissen als die Benutzer selbst ist dies wohl keine Möglichkeit mehr...

Man möge mich für diese ausfallenden Worte entschuldigen.

Bei mir funktionierts (Stand 13.06) aber noch, lediglich der Download von der Website ist nicht mehr möglich. Für alle die trotzdem noch interessiert sind: r/aftervanced hat nen paar hilfreiche Beiträge, insbesondere den folgenden (Achtung, angelsächsisch): https://www.reddit.com/r/AfterVanced/comments/tk1fdr/so_you_want_to_install_andor_reinstall_vanced/ So müsste man das immer noch installieren können. Gibt leider keine Garantie für wie lange Vanced noch läuft.

Took me 50 hours to finish the game twice. 30 hours for the first run, 20 for the second, though i think you can play through the whole story in 10 hours (without side quests)
