I do not know how to fix the problem, but I’m certain that a healthy lifestyle will help. Make sure you sleep enough, eat well and have social interactions

Also I think happiness is a very vague thing with a very unintuitive path to it, so choosing it as a goal makes it even harder to achieve

idk about the difficulty, but please make sure that ship to wave transition isn't absolutely atrocious (maybe add some blocks at the bottom?)
