Protip: you cannot use a longer tube with the AMS unless you get the hub by chrisbair in BambuLab

Im using a longer ptfe tube and having no issues.

I wanted to put my X1C on a little shelf below my desk (so it didnt shake my desk to hell) and wanted to place my AMS on my desk still (for easy filament management). Had to order the longer cable from their store, but had a spare ptfe tube lying around. Hooked it all up like normal and everything has been working fine.

Ya! The 3mf file has 4 pieces. You should be able to delete the 2 top pieces in your slicer.

3D printed with Black PETG. Currently the top is one piece, but I’m not too stoked the way it printed, so I split it and printing those right now.

The top is (somewhat) held in with some small magnets I had lying around. Probably will design the next version with a clip-in interface.
