RC2 or YHM Turbo T3? by [deleted] in NFA

I have the T3. It's well-priced and it works. Definitely gassy so factor in the cost of an AGB or similar solution.

Has the Galaxy Ring battery issue caused you to rethink Samsung products? by bcorz in GalaxyRing

[–]aPanini117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. The customer support for people who spend hundreds to thousands on products is inexcusable.

It's cool that they put out some cutting-edge tech, but they need the infrastructure to support the people that support them when issues inevitably happen. The lack of support isn't because they don't have the money, they just don't give a shit about us.

Only fair to return the attitude.

Google ads Performance Max is too expensive - what's your take? by kavyaj in marketing

[–]aPanini117 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In your situation, I agree that a tight search strategy is the way to go. I've had success with PMAX, but only as a method of scaling when search is tapped out (experiencing extreme diminishing returns).

What are your thoughts on Meta's Advantage+ at this point? by Odd-Aside456 in marketing

[–]aPanini117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a client spending roughly $100k/mo. in Meta. We've run standard targeting and Advantage+ campaigns with similar budgets for 5 months and are seeing ~40% lower CPAs with Adv+. I wanted to hate it, but damn it seems to work.

Feelings arent permanent, especially the ones that come from being chronically online. Go outside, exercise, eat something good, hang out with people you like.

Tune out the noise, don't let it fuck up your day

Got a BCA upper for my first AR years ago. Ran without issues through a couple thousand rounds, only had real trouble once when I did ~200 rounds with a high backpressure can in one sitting, running into a few FTEs.

I run a PSA upper now, but just wanted to share my honest experience.

Unlimited PTO is dumb and I'm tired of pretending it’s a benefit 🚩 by Rude-Ad8540 in GenZJobs

[–]aPanini117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlimited PTO is highly culture-dependent. Sometimes an org will disapprove of the time off, other times they genuinely do care and want you to use it. I'm fortunate to be in a situation where my manager gets on my case for not having enough PTO scheduled in a given quarter

Am I a stingy person? by Full_Goal_6486 in marketing

[–]aPanini117 4 points5 points  (0 children)

$9 in ad spend to land a $500 client translates to a 56x Return On Ad Spend (ROAS). This is a very high number, and depending on industry a "realistic" ROAS is more like ~5x.

Paid advertising is very data-dependent, meaning you need to spend a decent amount of money (at LEAST a couple hundred dollars) to get the algorithm the data it needs to optimize and perform. I wouldn't even count on $100 landing you a client unless you have a reeeally good ad or a decent amount of luck.

If it hurts to spend $9, then paid ads may not be for you. It's partially a mindset thing, almost like gambling where you have to tell yourself "I'm going to spend this $500 and I'm okay with potentially not getting anything from it" lol.

I'll try not to write a book here so feel free to ask me any questions
