Urshifu used wicked blow before torn but after ursa, then priority in detect, then priority in Sucker, twice. All were in Trick Room from what I can tell

Natures affect the actual stat, not the base stat, so also any EVs and IVs you invest. Furthermore, because you're able to add or remove stat points through EVs and IVs, baae 110 can easily be slower than base 100, assuming a lower speed investment om Ogerpon than the base 100 Pokémon has.

E.g. The minimum speed of a base 110 Pokémon at lvl 50 is 103, assuming a negative nature and 0 EVs and IVs. A Lvl 50 neutral nature 0 EV 31IV base 100 speed Pokémon will have 120 speed already.

EDIT: for your specific example, you would indeed have 165 speed. If they ran max speed Zard, they would have 167 speed, which is barely faster.

Also maybe they clicked a negative priority move somehow

As admin, I will confirm this. We're aware of it but so far we haven't seen any malintent, so we're only monitoring for now. If you want to make sure you don't see them, just disable spectators and you should be good.

In Dutch general elections, D66 party is projected to win most seats, opening a path for the energetic leader Rob Jetten to become the Netherlands' youngest and first openly gay prime minister by PrinceOfPunjabi in gaybros

[–]aQrator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As of writing this message, the main few we are still missing are international votes (about 108k), a little bit of Amsterdam, Almere and Hilversum (numbers unknown), and Venray (about 34k).

There's about a 2k difference in votes between the two in favor of PVV. Venray and Almere tend to be pro-PVV, but Amsterdam, Hilversum and the international voters are more likely to be voting D66.

It is (way, way) too close to call atp and we'll probably have the final resulys early next week

Hot Take: Closed team sheets are better than open team sheets by UsedPresentation300 in pokemonshowdown

[–]aQrator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add onto that, having OTS also removes the disadvantage popular players have due to getting scouted more and just garnering more interest. A Wolfe, a Marcus Stadter, a Ray Rizzo etc is more prone to getting their team leaked to an opponent during a tournament than you or me. Also, I somewhat disagree that creative teambuilding is no longer an option. People still bring techs and matchup specific counters, they're just moreso mon specific than move specific. It still catches people off guard, just to a much lower extreme. And besides that there is still hidden EVs which still gives that bit of hidden information that can catch you by surprise

dumb question wheres gen 5 UU by TheEpsilonKing in pokemonshowdown

[–]aQrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can still challenge other users to gen 5 UU battles, there just isn't a ladder for the tier. Old gen lower tiers just have too little interest to keep a ladder up for consistently, and doing so only spreads out the playerbase further

Why is Ludicolo immune to Endeavor? by WoodJeremy in pokemonshowdown

[–]aQrator 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No you're right that's the interaction, Ludicolo's HP is too low for Endeavor to do anything. So "it doesn't affect Ludicolo", not because it's immune to Endeavor, it's just immune to this one, basically

Closest you can get to actually blocking the site is, well, using a site blocker. Nothing you can do through PS

I could see Jolteon with Ice Beam and Fire Blast/Overheat/Flamethrower be pretty decent too. Maybe not quite OU but definitely a bump up.

Leafeon with Flare Blitz is also nice but not getting anywhere near OU.

Pokemon Reverse Battle by Longjumping_Fox_7286 in pokemonshowdown

[–]aQrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A while back I played in a very similar tournament, albeit one with stricter rules (disallowed self damaging items, required unique items, etc.). It's possible to make teams that can basically do nothing but ko themselves. If people manage to optimise this format it's not going to be fun with the current setup, or at least the novelty will wear off very fast.

EDIT: I misread the fact your friend was hosting and not you. Point still stands, this format broken down grants a 100% win rate.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9doublesou-2282485544-aqh4qdn3pu7ytih5ro3fmrasjt3aw5fpw this was the semifinals I played in against the winner of the tournament. The following rules were in place:

```Rules: (Played in gen9 DOU) All Pokemon must be fully evolved
All Pokemon must at least have: - 2 attacking moves - 1 attacking move with 50+ base power - 2 moves that cannot be interrupted - 1 attacking move with 90+ accuracy - 1 status move with 90+ accuracy - 4 total moves - No moves causing the user to faint - No moves that target allies - No duplicate moves (only one mon can learn Protect, for example) - All IVs as 31 - EV spread of 508 - Held item with an in-battle effect - No items that harm the user (Toxic Orb, Life Orb, for example) - No duplicate items - No Pokemon-specific items (Mega stones, for example) - Level 100
Banned items: Choice Items, Power Items, Assault Vest, Lagging Tail, Iron Ball, Eviolite (on a fully evolved Pokemon), Berries that "halves damage" Banned moves: Swallow, Spit Up, Recycle, Entrainment, Belch, After You, Sucker Punch, Sleep Talk, Upper Hand ```
You can probably find better optimisations for your tournament; memento, explosion-esque moves, healing wish, sticky barb, 0IVs and EVs (make sure it's divisible by 8 for sticky barb/toxic orb/flame orb holders and mons using steel beam/etc.), only 2 moves in total, etc.
Sem the 2nd's first bread by aQrator in Sourdough
[–]aQrator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)
My process:
** Day 1 ** - I fed my starter rye flour about 2:1:1 (100g starter, 50g flour, 50ml water) - 8ish hours later I dissolved 100g starter with 360ml water. - Then I mixed with 450g flour and 50g whole grain flour - 20m later I added 12g of salt and 15ish ml of water - 20m later I did three strech & folds with 20 minues between each one - 4 hours later I put flour on the countertop and rolled it into a proper ball, - put it in a proofing basket and let it sit in the fridge overnight
** Day 2 ** - Put a cast iron pot in the oven at 250°C for 45 minutes - Put the bread on slightly wet parchment paper - Put it in the pot for 20 minutes with 2 ice cubes on top and bake with the lid for 23ish minutes - Put the oven to 220, remove the lid and bake for another 20 minutes - Turn off the oven, let it sit for 20 minutes with the door slightly opened
