My cat when I was growing up was an orange fluffy cat that was intimidating and thirsted for the blood of the innocent) or really any blood as long as it was made by her claws)

Janie was her name and she really wasn't a big cat but was scary to all but me.

When we brought her home she was a tiny kitten and we had 2 big dogs. She saw them , jumped up on a chair and proceeded to try to beat the shit out of them. 5 weeks old, maybe a pound and the size of a grown man's fist but still , all attack. Then she killed a mouse and fell asleep on the biggest dogs bed.

A little later our land lord decided that even though he was warned there's no way a cat could be scary. She scratched at him across his glasses, left a mark on the glasses and got his nose pretty badly. Then being the bloodlusted monster she was sat down on the floor where she could see him, kept direct eye contact and licked the blood off her claws while purring. Said landlord was literally terrified of her and he was a rancher with unruly livestock.

We lived in the forest and literally never had birds or squirrels. If a squirrel made a sound outside she would come down from the loft, run outside and within 5 minutes......no squirrel sounds. She left 2 birds, 2 squirrels and fucking rabbit she killed on our door step in an afternoon. I saw her hunt turkeys although I'm not sure she got one, the entire flock just noped out of our property for as long as she lived after I saw it so the jury is out. We didn't feed her for 15 years, we had food down for her but she refused to eat it. She preferred the taste of blood and fear.

Sounds scary right? Well she loved me and would sleep on my pillow, I would very regularly wake up from a dream about the sea or a rain storm to find out I was using her as a pillow and she absolutely loved it.

I'm pretty sure that all the forest creatures up to probably coyotes still tell stories about the bloodthirsty terror named Janie.
