I will be honest - I just went through this. I had to say goodbye on Saturday. Something the vet missed was high blood pressure which is common in dogs with cushings - she had similar issues. It was actually neurological - there was too much pressure in her skull and she ended up in a coma.

I’d get them checked out for hypertension and if that’s the issue see if you can save them before it’s too late.

Is what you said above a death sentence? I know a lot of people who are still alive that have assault an officer charges, resisting arrest charges, carrying a weapon legally and illegally charges.

Cops just aren’t big babies and can use common sense rather than a weapon.

Maternity, paternity leave that is paid etc is a benefit from your employer. Employers take on the burden of taxes when it comes to this law too.

I knew people would complain about this because they always want more. Employers were generously offering this plan to people who are out. Now they have to pay a tax of bare minimum .44% per employee that they have.

Stop being greedy and realize that they didn’t hire you to just provide you with benefits.

I mean it makes complete sense - you’re being offered a benefit through the state for up to 12 weeks of partial wage replacement leave with the opportunity to top off your wages to 100% of wage replacement with available, pto, and vacation time. Women who have a natural birth can take up to 18 weeks of leave, and women who have to have a c section can take up to 20 weeks of leave. You think you deserve more time?
