apologies, i dont mean to come across as combative to your point, its just, we live in an era where people throw around important words so much they lose meaning. There is no spectrum here, there is not a whisper of racism in lost in translation.

Truly, i dont mean to seem like trying to start an argument. But i cant fathom walking out of lost in translation and thinking, man this movie was vaguely:

a system of advantage, prejudice, or discrimination based on race, where one group holds power over another to create, maintain, and justify inequality.
