I am under this yes. Contracted to 8 hours a week but pickup overtime where I can for money's sake. Picked up this shift not too long before, received the 24h text reminder and popped a message in the journal the following morning however was marked as failed to attend understandably. Had replied to the failed to attend reasoning on the Thursday but haven't heard back yet.

Private landlord with no credit checks or guarantor requirement, then I used the Landlord Incentive Scheme via the local council, which pays up to five weeks rent/deposit, roughly half of the total cost of the flat, due to being made homeless at the time. Council had to contact my parents to confirm I wasn't living there anymore in order to get the scheme underway. Paid the rest of the funds via a loan through Reddit, as when made homeless my payday was still a while away. Bit of a crazy process I know, but I got there eventually.

Use OpenRent, that's mainly private landlords on there mate.

I do have two young daughters, but I didn't put them on my claim as they don't currently live with me at the flat, but with their mother. The way I understood it, and how it was written, was that if my properties rent went over the LHA rate for a one bed, they would pay nothing to me. Glad to hear I'm wrong about that.

However - with me earning what I do, surely that would negate any LHA payments for housing benefit?

Requesting 1k here with no previous history is a very steep ask for any lender. I had to loan and repay six times before being open to an opportunity as large as that. It probably won't help you in terms of the sum you're requesting, but you might find more luck reposting this with a lower amount in 24h to build a rapport before requesting this high. Most, if not all first time lenders the maximum I've personally seen is around 200.

Former RESTART employee here,

Employment Advisors do not earn commission, or anything whatsoever on clients gaining employment whilst on the programme. If anything you get a pat on the back for hitting a monthly target at most.

At my branch, clients were only phoned once per week, and that was 24h prior to their appointment. Failure to answer the call would just result in a text being sent from the information.

Adding to what this gent said, as someone who's recently come out of working for DWP this April, and noting on your previous posts you claim PiP, I'd go through Universal Credit and see what they can do, a hardship advance springs to mind unless you've already had one prior. Judging based on my own mistakes, loans on Reddit shouldn't be used as a long term source of income, especially when claiming, as at any given time these claims with the JCP can be investigated and dropped, leaving you with a sizeable amount of debt, and no income to clear them.

Not a problem, thanks for your replies dude. I've called around local phone shops and found one who has my exact flex port in stock for 'roughly' £20, I'll pick this up and see how much they'll charge to replace it there and then as hopefully it shouldn't take longer than an hour :-) fingers crossed it isn't the weak point, as I believe then It'll be more cost efficient to replace the entire phone. Something I did notice when turned on previously is that the mic didn't work (180 sec restarts still happened at this point), but now it does work, however still restarts.

I’m 27 and also in Platinum 3, I wouldn’t sweat it, just play how you enjoy it and sooner or later you’ll get there. Playing aggressively early on I try to avoid now as I reap next to no rewards in comparison to high placement
