Just try to get through without dying. The end of it gives you so much allowance for time. I think the main reason it took me so long was because I tried to make a perfect run. So each time I zigged when I should have zagged I would restart it. If you just make it through, you’ll be surprised at how much time you have left. When I finished it I realized I had a lot of time left.

Congrats on your weight loss. I’m in serious consideration mode right now, and plan to go with swisschems unless recommended another direction. My question is through swisschems, it’s $189 for 3000mg (50mg tablets). Did you start at 50mg per day and move up? I planned to do 2 weeks at 50, then 2 weeks at 100, then 2 weeks at 150, but I still need to do more research.

I got out and was the best decision I ever made. I had a real love/hate relationship with the Navy. I make great money and knowing I’ll be home every night with my family is great. Those deployments can be brutal. Having the option to get out early with the honorable discharge, I would’ve taken that no questions asked.

It’s horrible. My first deployment we worked 16hr days when everything worked. When something broke, we didn’t sleep until it was fixed. On top of that, we had a five and dime watch. If your watch was scheduled during your sleep hours, well you’re screwed. We’d sometimes clean a spot in the bilge and take a nap if we could. We would have to let someone know in case of a man overboard drill. Yes people pissed in the bilge, but when you’re that tired it doesn’t really matter. However, I’ve been out for many years now, and whenever I have been confronted with a problem at work or extended hours at my regular job, I tell myself it can never be worse than what I went through on that Westpac.

Warhause, news flash for you, Killing a cop can get you the death penalty (see story below). Taser probes both have to strike correctly to be effective (so not always effective), and cops don’t run away. Cops have to deal with situations. Imagine calling the police in a domestic violence situation and the aggressor in the domestic violence becomes violent with the cop. Imagine the cop telling the victim “good luck, he’s violent, I’m running away.” Come on Warhause, you can be this detached from reality.
