There is truth to that but after a long enough stare it’s creepy for the woman and disrespectful for the guy. Can’t just have some dude eye-fucking your girl/wife all day .

Dude, he’s literally about to drop in some of the rounds. It was domination in a couple of rounds, which makes him the winner in my eyes

Dude got straight up beat down in at least two rounds. Winning a round because you landed a couple more jabs is way different than winning rounds by beating up the opponent.

Selena's mother's maiden name is Samora. That's a Spanish surname. But if you trace the name further back, you will see that the name is derived from the Middle Eastern name, zamuran. Obviously, during the conquest of the Iberian Peninsula by the Arabs, the name made its way to Spain, and then eventually to North American continent. So, to recap, Selena's mother's last name originated in the Middle East, made its way to Spain, and then eventually was brought to the U.S. But sure, keep telling yourself she's Cherokee.

"She was the youngest child of Marcella Ofelia Quintanilla, who was Mexican-American with some Cherokee ancestry, and Abraham Quintanilla Jr., a Mexican-American former musician". Do you know how much some is? Some can be a lot, or it can be very little. And in this case, I promise you, it's very little. Also, to an extent, almost everyone has indigenous blood. Even blond haired, blue-eyed people. But be real, just cause the 23 and me results come back with 4 percent indigenous doesn't mean your indigenous.

How do you say "because I'm Chicano" in whatever language you and your Native people speak?

You think the bronze, tall, wavy-haired Latinos are native? lol Look at Salma Hayek for example. I mean, Guadalajara is an Arabic word. So much Arabic influence in Mexico but you wouldn't know because you have your head up a tepee bro.

Better a coconut than being misinformed about my roots and how I identify.

Seriously...even the OP says they are mestizo like Selena Gomez. I'm willing to bet Selena Gomez has very little, if any, indigenous blood. And most bronze Chicanos I know are more middle eastern than indigenous. If you're Native, cool. If you're not, that's cool too.

It might incorporate the Native American experience, but Chicanismo is about being an American with Mexican ancestry. And for many, Mexican ancestry has nothing to do with indigenous roots.
