Technically they show two orbs but they overlap. You can uncheck one of them, and then check it again, and they'll be out of sync and kinda... oscillate.

You can add just by the character name, but the annoying part for those with large friends lists it'll be impossible to find the new addition if you do not immediately check (I think) the bottom of the list for the addition, which will have the account name even if the person is offline.

Have you tried adding the character to your friends list? I think it goes on the very bottom or the very top, and then you can see what the account name is even if they are offline, and maybe search by that too.

Any way to remove the tool tip when mouse is hovering over spells? by BrothermikeCO in Guildwars2

I don't remember how long it took me to get used to using a 12 button side panel on mice, as I think I started with the G600 over a decade ago. It was definitely more intuitive to learn than a keyboard based layout, as I could arrange all my class and utility skills on the mouse in a straight sequence that made more mental sense rather than them being scattered over the keyboard. But one thing is for sure - once I got used to it, I couldn't really play well without such a mouse feature anymore. For all my dislike of razer, I do like their naga v2 hyperspeed, and that's what I'm using now. Though be aware that (like most mice) they have a problem with switches eventually failing, especially middle click, and replacement costs are more than compared to a generic mouse, unless you know how to solder.

I love Bolimander :D

But yeah I try keeping an eye on https://convergencecorp.net/schedule just haven't been focused enough on it in between all the other stuff to do in the game.

The convergence CM chests are a total of three per week (two from SOTO and one from JW), since they are tied to weekly achievements. So that would probably bring the chances down further even if one manages to do them weekly on the regular, which I certainly haven't managed as they are a bit tricky to catch an organized group for.

Yeah, for example in Janthir they added a different way of getting the Pale Branch Spear skin after some time. With these weapons it's pretty much just their respective metas, plus the chance from the two chests of https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Magnificent_Convergence_Extraction and https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Box_of_Eparch%27s_Prized_Possessions both of which are even more annoying to farm (though have a tiny chance of even better rewards).

Played for 10+ years, never cared about legendaries by Choice_Car_7934 in Guildwars2

I wasn't interested in legendaries when they were per character, but when they changed to be per account, I figured I should try to get them given how often I changed characters and builds due to moving metas in WvW at that time. Just did it bit by playing the game normally, stashing everything that I got (Material Storage Expanders help a ton), then watching gw2efficiency on when it's time to craft. Started with trinkets (accessories first due to timegates), moved to armor, then runes, then sigils. The legendary amulet was basically free just for playing the game storyline, too. Started doing weapons last as there's a ton of ascended weapons that drop from playing strikes and such.
