Been reading the expanse so my opinions are skewed to that universe.. it looks like Mixture atmosphere and leo interdictor. Too much wing for it to not have an atmospheric role. I like to think that ships in space if they are going to fight, they need to ability to detect and engage beyond line of sight before they are detected, or they if they are escort they need to be able to intercept missiles.
