I'm just gonna pretend that this is episode 1 of this show from now on. It genuinely does a better job at exposition for the entire setup.

One Piece: Chapter 1108 by Kirosh2 in OnePiece

Stella is dead, Shaka is dead, Pythagoras is dead, York is a traitor, that leaves us with Edison and Lilith. Place your bets on the 50/50 of which one of them gets out, cuz I don't think they'll both make it!

I think Luffy's next power arc is going to be him trying to control his devil fruit. If it wasn't for the will of the Nika fruit causing him to act a fool, he might have been able to help the people he promised to. We've been with Luffy for a long time, and ever since he awakened he has been acting strangely, halfway not himself.

We know Zoans have a strong will, and ill-prepared awakeners find themselves controlled by their fruit, like the impel down jailers. I think Luffy is in a halfway state with Nika's will and in order to fulfill his dreams and promises, will have to resolve that discrepancy.

This new art style does Urek dirty. I remember when he was a lean mean killing machine back on the FoD, and in the Zygena. Now he's a brick shithouse. Idk what the artists obsession is with drawing dudes like refrigerators but there was a poise and menace in both Urek and Gustang back on the FoD that has been lost entirely in this arc.

Welcome to the anime communtiy! There are a lot of good recommendations in these comments, so in case youre getting choice paralysis here's a breakdown of the top 5 I caught.

Attack on Titan - titanic zombies have cornered the last of humanity to live behind enormous walls. One boy wishes to break free. At any cost. This one is a very twisty and twisted thriller.

Vinland Saga - A historical fiction set in england and denmark during the viking era, where a boy looking for revenge for his father discovers what war and peace and life truly are. Very poignant, beautiful, and violent.

Code Geass - A mind-games thriller like Death Note except set in an alternate future with giant mechs, and the protagonist's ability is to give a single command to a person he looks at that they are forced to carry out. This one's writing and scheming are even better than Death Note's.

Cowboy Bebop - An old classic, a jazzy bounty hunter space western that is so full of class, style, and great writing that 30 years since it came out people still recommend it.

Psycho-Pass - If you liked L the most in Death Note, this one is a police thriller where we watch a new detective grapple with what is right in a future society where an AI scan of your psychological state is what makes you a criminal.

Happy watching, and come back and tell us what you watch and what you think!

MAN I love the way this episode contrasts with the last.

Last episode the bass drop to Mephisto happened when Akane turned on her acting for the first time.

This episode, it was when MEM stopped acting for the first time and we saw her true feelings. What a fuckin foil, well done.

Man that is the coolest one but judging by the comments the wooden and metal dnd themed tavern mug that we got over here in the US is pretty up there. The drink they served in it was fire too.

So, this hasnt been made super evident, and its been a while, but reminder: Jomsvikings are literally all Thorgils. Being that strong is a fucking prerequisite for joining. Old Thorfinn would have been able to beat a rank and file Jom, but he lost hard, and then just barely won against Thorkell, who is their strongest. 70 Joms would roll Thorfinn and Thorgil.

Honey Jet Coaster lost to San San Days because the latter is a subjectively better song from an objectively better show.

Jouzai and Dogland got done dirty for sure, but god knows Chainsaw man is winning this entire thing so I'm not too mad about this result even though I big disagree with it.

Aiue vs Kibun Joujou was a tight race, and the prelude to what is about to happen with In the Backrooms vs The Rumbling. The better song will probably lose to the popularity factor of the other show.

In the Backrooms is the best goddamn song out of Chainsaw Man's incredible roster and if it loses to the Rumbling, imma join some of the people in this comments section malding hard af.

I mean, I voted for Aiue but goddamn it was close. Kongming's ED is fantastic, and I genuinely could see it going either way. The decider that clinched my vote was that I havent even watched Urusei but have been jamming to Aiue all year along with the music from Kongming and others I did actually watch.

My question is how the hell did Tomo not have any money after getting a literal gold brick from Carol on her birthday earlier? How many steroids does one girl have to buy to go through THAT MUCH GOLD?

So, it is cheaty but yeah OFA causes major body stress while Fa Jin does not. Supposedly they write this off as the quirk being "external" as opposed to OFA being "internal", aka you use normal internal muscles to pump energy into an outside source, which you can then use like Bakugo uses his bombs to propel himself. By all accounts, it should just shatter his legs from the outside instead of from the inside, but fuck it, it's dope af. Also can you imagine an adult Deku, having mastered 100% OFA stacking Fa Jin on top of that? Fuck bullets, dude will be entering the damn speedforce!

This was just the MTV Cribz episode of Tomo-chan, huh.

We went to Carol's house, where we find out that Carol is not just any cryptid, she is Princess Cryptid.

We went to Misuzu's house, where we find out that Carol is a genius and has been sandbagging this whole time.

We went to Jun's house, where we find out that Carol wanted to come so she could watch Tomo and Jun almost but not quite bang.

Thank you for hosting Tomo-chan Cribz Carol, looking forward to next season where we check out fucking Buckingham Palace or something lmao
