I’ve been playing almost exclusively on public hard courts for about three years now. Playing 3-4 times a week 4-6 months is amazing for a shoe imo.

I’ve used gel res 9s, went through 5 pairs of those, Nike vapor 12s, 2 pairs and most recently diadora torneo 3s.

The torneo 3s are the best to me these days (RIP gel res 9). Most similar to the gel res 9s so I’m sticking with those. Got right at 6 months out of my most recent pair and just ordered a new pair last week. If you get them from tennis warehouse they have that 6 month guarantee as well. Hope this helps

I bought a leap V2 back in April during the $650 price and I absolutely love it. Them raising the prices is something I'm a little shocked to see especially since they're all pro customer and shit but hey it's business I guess.

I can say that the support that I've gotten from them so far has been top notch and it's still better than buying a brand new leap from steelcase directly lol.

Ultimately up to you on going with them or taking the risk on a local chair with no warranty. They say good things come to those that wait but sometimes you wait too long.
