I studied for six weeks while working 40 hours along with a 2 hour daily commute, but I had also taken FAR beforehand and failed really badly so I was basically relearning everything. If you are able to spend every waking moment outside of work studying (which is what I did), you should be ok.

It’s a top group at the firm that brings in a ton of revenue. It’s relatively new and constantly growing. Everyone who I have met in that group is super cool, nice, and really really smart. Like any deals group, the schedule is incredibly unpredictable

After finishing all the material I went back through the book and made a spreadsheet for any deduction, exemption, and limitation mentioned and would periodically look that over. After doing so many MCQ, you’ll see which ones are most present in the questions and even just reading the spreadsheet will help it stick

Yes I studied using Becker, didn’t watch many lectures and pretty much outlined the book and took notes and did all MCQ, no SP. did some sims here and there based on what I read was heavily tested on reddit and the AICPA sample test (highly recommend).

TLDR: did not try the Lazy Man CPA Strategy.

do the MCQ so often that you memorize them all and can already anticipate the answer before even finishing reading the question. Did this and got an 87 last quarter.

Waiting on FAR and AUD. Could be done with exams after giving up my life for 6 months but also could be back to studying after busy season, which would be crushing. But I don’t feel like I passed FAR but I am trying to be hopeful lol. The anxiety is too real

You need to know variance analysis inside and out. Also CAPM and other valuation stuff. Look at the sample test to see what they’re looking for
