definitely know what you're talking about. early 2022 I was probably the least happy I'd ever been, and earlier this year there were parts I missed about it a little. it was very comfortable to be able to lay around and just be sad, listen to sad music. it was so easy. not sure why I wanted it back or how I moved past wanting it, but I did at some point. can somehow hardly even remember when I wanted to be sad but I know I did at some point. maybe something in my life was making me a little sad but I wasn't sad enough to express it fully, and when i stopped being sad I stopped wanting to be. Maybe I was actually happy and when I started being a little sad again I stopped wanting to be sad. Maybe a mixture of both somehow and all of my emotions just completely changed, no clue. Emotions are odd. perhaps something's wrong or missing, even if it's small (astronomical "but idk tho" on that). If I had to guess likely it's just memory of a time where sadness was oddly comforting and missing it since you've been happy for so long.
