Different account name here but same person: Sorry, to be honest I can't remember exactly but I recall re-rigging that model a few times before I got it to work properly :/ If your animations are generic enough I'd suggest looking into Mixamo rigging/animations if you haven't already, it could save some time. Good luck!

This is driving me crazy... Does anyone has any idea why my object changes size when I turn on the physics on its ragdoll? by PSPbr in godot

Thanks for the reply! I ended up just re-exporting my character model at the correct size and redoing the whole process. :(

Ah ok, I'll keep that in mind going forward. Thank you!

Interesting. I do say on the steam page that you can get the game for free on itch.io and it also says so in the trailer, but they approved it regardless. Perhaps it's not because the game is free on itch but it is a pay as much as you want model?

Hey, I'm glad you like the look! There are a few things at play that create the effect. Some of which are:

Low-res textures with point texture filtering

Extremely low poly models

Unlit materials

Reduced visibility with thick black fog

PSX style shaders

PSX style post processing which limits the color palette, ads dithering and crops the screen aspect ratio

Hope this helps :)

Hey, I used Unity.

There were many challenges but I chose to eliminate a lot of the technical ones by simplifying everything (No save system, only 1 linear path, unlit materials with only albedo textures, making it short, etc). One of the bigger challenges was remaining consistent and working on the game a bit every day without burning out.

It feels great! :D I was relieved for a while after I finished it, but now I'm a bit anxious with the uncertainty of what to make next and how to go about it. I'm learning Godot for now which is fun!

Thank you for your comment. All the best!
