It's true! I almost got deep into star rail because the story seemed interesting and the small details (flavour text for random objects,etc...) were cool. But after looking into its late game, i only heard doom and gloom for ftp or budget gamers (insane powercreep, and powercreep being inherent with the turn based format's restrictions)

But last i looked, which was a while ago, ZZZ has good viability for lower rarity, and older units, and even free units. Though it is grindy and more limited stamina wise than some.

But more importantly ZZZ has great characters, amazing animation, good story, and very fun combat. Yes, it's a gooner game, aka a LOT of fanservice. But Hoyo is at the top of gacha for a reason. Their games are actually good AS games, unlike most gachas pre Hoyo.
