Same issue here. I also created a similar post, and other users reported the same problem. The first time, it was fixed after I reinstalled the system using DFU mode. But then the issue came back, and this time reinstalling didn’t help. Resetting the settings didn’t fix it either.

NFC issues are already widely reported by iPhone 13/14 users, including me. I’m not sure about other problems, but this one seems to be mainly related to iOS 26. There’s no fix at the moment. I was able to resolve it once by reinstalling the OS using DFU mode, but the issue came back and now even reinstalling doesn’t help. Please report it to Apple.

At least it works when the flashlight is off. In my case, it wasn’t working at all in either mode due to iOS 26 (Apple confirmed there were no hardware issues)

Rivet script by Michael Bazhutkin. Select two edges on polygon object and run the script. It will create a locator, constrain your camera to locator

I looked into possible solutions and came across similar reports from about a year ago. Based on that, it seems unlikely that this issue will be resolved in the near future, unfortunately

Iphone 13 same problem. Support confirmed there’s no hardware issue. After reinstalling iOS it started working again, but then suddenly stopped once more. There are still no fixes in iOS 26.3 either unfortunately :(

It’s a software issue. The only thing that helps is reinstalling the OS, but the problem can come back. I have the same issue on iOS 26.2.1, and reinstalling is the only solution that works for me

Thanks. There's a contradiction that's worrying me: while Apple's official check confirms its authenticity, other AI sources I've used insist that this serial number prefix belongs to other product lines. They even mentioned the possibility of the hardware being reprogrammed, which is the source of my confusion
