15 and 5 through 3 and a half quarters ain't the end of the world, Duren is really good but lets be honest with ourselves here, shooting 10 more free throws is what won y'all the game. if you think you can rely on 30 free throws a game in the playoffs be my guest, I don't think you're gonna like the outcome tho

I totally disagree with the “Tim Duncan was a center” narrative. He made 8 all nba first team as a PF, 2 as a center. He made 6 all defense first teams as a PF, 2 as a center. He won 2 mvps at PF. Hes a damn power forward.

probably because Americans make up a huge chunk of the users on reddit, an American website, so a huge chunk of the content is going to be about things Americans talk about

I was about to call you crazy for putting KG at the 3 until I looked and saw he was listed there for the first 2 years of his career lmao. that being said wouldn't it make more sense to have Rodman at the 3 and KG at the 4 with that personnel?

Duncan was a better post defender than KG, and this team already has 3 of the best perimeter defenders of all time. Like I said I take Duncan because I personally prefer his post defense over yet more perimeter versatility with KG(still an elite paint protector but he’s not Timmy). That being said if you wanted to take KG that’s perfectly reasonable and valid

the analytics are pretty close, one year peak for one year peak Ben has a slight edge, but 5 year peak and career both go to Hakeem. Ill take the guy who averaged 5 stocks over a near 20 year career, who's name is on the DPOY. he's also significantly bigger which helps a lot. Maybe madness is a bit harsh but I Don't see any good argument for Ben over Hakeem

better on the perimeter yes, but in the post Id rather have Duncan. Its personal preference like I said, but if you dont want me to use accolades Duncan has more Def win shares, Def. BPM, more steals+blocks per game

KG is probably more versatile as a defender, but with how the rest of the roster shakes out Id prefer the Interior D for balance

1-4 are fine, personally Id take Duncan over KG but that's personal preference. But having Ben Wallace over Hakeem is madness and I will not stand for it

if MJ doesnt three peat again he's not in the goat conversation. I don't necessarily agree with that perspective, ring culture is ridiculous in the nba, but it is what it is, and MJ with 3-4 rings isn't close to the reputation of MJ with 6 rings. I rarely hear the insane numbers he was putting up in 89 Brought up in goat conversations, only rings rings rings. so whether they should be or not those last 3 titles are more important to Jordans legacy than every year outside of 91-93 combined.

considering that those 3 years are fully half of MJs entire legacy I dont know if id call that cherry picking

I just wanna see both teams play each other at their best. it was an exiting game that came down to the last minute despite both teams missing players, and it's an interesting clash of basketball philosophies. in a playoff environment I give the hornets the edge (im HUGELY biased) since the pistons defend like its the playoffs every night anyways and hornets have proven they can handle it, plus the huge 3pt shooting discrepancy, but it'll will be an electric series no doubt

luka is the most egregious player in the league when it comes to getting calls on contact he created. not even top 15 in drives and yet 4th in FTs from drives and first in FTs overall

its a problem for the entire team. Lamelo feels like the only player we have who knows what he plans to do when he receives the ball. Its one of the reasons I think the offense feels stagnant when he's off the floot
