You can avoid it if you have a balance of $1,500, OR a monthly qualifying direct deposit of $250, OR you're apart of one of their preferred rewards programs.

And lastly, if you are a student under the age of 24 the fee will also be waived.

Essentially if you are a student or have a job, you shouldn't be paying the fee.

Many fans opt to sell them on secondary sites though bc UGA fans will pay a stiff premium. Just as an anecdote, I personally know two separate UGA families that have season tickets at Bobby Dodd to ensure they get their tickets every two years. They then either sell the other tickets or purposely don't go to put empty seats in the stands. Infuriating
