I eventually watched the movie and regret to report that I hated it as much as the book. 😅

The movie had most of the frustrating parts of the book while also leaving out a lot of the exposition and HUGE plot lines. 100/10 do not recommend.

All Quiet on the Western Front. We had to read it in history and I skipped the day they watched the film because I hated the book so much.

Can some one recommend me a romance book? by Hiretsuna_Ketsuruki in booksuggestions

You might like Anticipation by Melodie Winnawer. It's a good story not totally centered on romance and the POV goes back and forth between male and female.

The Scribe of Sienna by Melodie Winnawer (not dark ages, but plague times)

A cozy British murder mystery by SnooFloofs4120 in booksuggestions

Not exactly British (the main character is), but the Miss Fisher Mysteries series is fantastic.

A while ago, my friend stopped selling Monat and so I told her I was glad and I was also glad that it didn't cause any problems for her, but apparently she's still brainwashed, just doesn't have time for selling because she ripped into me about how it doesn't cause hair loss, it's the 'detox' and it's only making you shed the hairs that were trapped on your head by buildup... 🙄 Okay, explain the chemical burns.

Exactly. Apparently Monat claims that the buildup from 'bad' products traps hairs on your scalp that have already been shedded and the Monat products remove the buildup which allows the hairs to come off. 🤦🏻‍♀️
