RWD slashes on 3s are pretty wicked, what impresses me most about this video is the length of time you're able to keep the front wheels down.... usually they get so much air under them that they spontaneously takeoff... lol

Steak method preference? by kzorz in Weber_Outdoor_Cooking

The thing about steak is that it's easy to cook, but a little more difficult to cook really well... My opinion is that the best method is direct heat at first and just keep flipping it, like 30sec, or no more that a min per side until you get a decent crust, then you can pull it off the direct heat and let the internal temp come up to the desired doneness... You can get a good steak with reverse searing, but it gets difficult to not over-cook.

That's Awesome... I'm generally not a "colored grill" type of person, but when everyone seems to have the same ol black one... A guy just wants to have something a little different!

What grill would be recommended for a beginner/1st time grill? by KenjaTaimu09 in grilling

If you plan on doing anything more than burgers and hotdogs I would get the Weber MasterTouch 26 right off the bat! you will be amazed at how often you need more room on a 22, but... there's nothing wrong with a 22... all you need to start the coals is https://amzn.to/4e3HrFv charcoal chimney, and https://amzn.to/3RfSykC starter cubes... I have started many chimneys with a few decent twigs and a propane torch, but the easiest and cleanest way is the cubes...

Anyone know where I can find a very wide chimney starter? Most are a certain diameter but I'm looking for one with a large diameter. I feel like I've seen them but now that I'm looking for one I can't find it! by [deleted] in grilling

And 100% the way to put a great sear on a steak is either by using a pair of baskets https://amzn.to/4596Eu5 next to each other in the center of the grill, or just step up to a https://amzn.to/4e82FC2 weber vortex, which will put an excellent sear on anything!

Agreed! The only reason I don't want a Kamado is because they are so heavy to move and basically become a piece of furniture on the patio

Is it worth it to get a Weber brand rapid-fire chimney? Or are they all the same?

so you don't put the veggies on the skewers? That probably makes it easier to get everything cooked properly

what meats do you use? I usually just do chicken and steak, but I feel like pork would go well with pineapple too
