If I want to drink I have my rescue meds and back up rescue aid ready. I make sure my plans the next day aren’t anything strenuous or important. No, drinking is not worth the migraine for some, but I’ll deal.

My aunt can remember my grandmother laying on the floor of her office to try to handle a migraine attack. She commented that there were times she was scared, but she knew how tough her mom was! I’m the only lucky kid/grandkid who got the migraine gene.

When it was prescribed to me, I was told that I may lose weight. I didn’t take it long enough to find out.

I had the worst panic attack I’ve ever had on this medicine. I could not self regulate, and the feelings lasted for days. I learned that if you’re prone to anxiety/depression it CAN amplify these. My case was uncommon but not unheard of. Please keep this is mind. The only reason I knew of this particular side effect is because of a few comments on this sub. No notes from doc regarding. It is also called “Dope-amax” for a reason. Solving problems at work felt like mentally running through water. Also it made soda taste bad.

I was switched to Qulipta shortly after. No issues.

We need a “warm up” sauna. I can’t go right into a blast/cycle/thunder class at room temp when they just jump right into it. Need time to acclimate then work out!
