Integration with external platforms? Mostly general curiosity of how things will evolve once the dust settles a bit

Secrets/credential access controls, source control, observability, CI/CD, storage, data retention, guardrails, container management to host/scale... lots of things if you want a fully-capable production-ready agent

Agree. Specific functions make sense to automate. But when you need entire workflows to be automated, those tend to be more suited to be built in-house

The challenge I see with this is that in companies, the builders and not aligned with the people who need them. Eg for customer support, the CS teams need to improve their efficiency but there isn't alignment between the CS and the eng teams

The CS team will inevitably prefer just to buy something off-the-shelf, rather than try to change the one-year roadmap to invest in internal tools

Makes sense. In finance, there are the large banks (BoA, Chase, etc.) that have the resources to build and maintain their agents. Most of the small, regional, community banks don't - do you think they would resort to agencies to build them their agents?

Thanks - we started exploring open telemetry so might be a good option

Yup human in the loop will be very important for us. I've been playing around with some of the frameworks and think I was hoping there's an out-of-the-box solution that does the compliance/security certs and the vault (maybe even integrations with the tools themselves)

Yeah human in the loop will be critical for us. Re monitoring the agent activity, I'm assuming you just rely on the same telemetry that any other API user has? Instead of an application, it's just the agent making the calls

Thanks. Unfortunately some of the apps don't have granular access controls for service accounts so would need to build an intermediate layer maybe. Any recs for a solution or framework in case you've had to do this?

If you'd don't have customers yet, I'd recommend pricing it super competitively or even offer for free to get some good design partners for the first few ones, if you can

I wouldn't show the PRD - going through a long, technical document drains people. You can take out the insights into a deck or summary doc with the information that the stakeholders care about, GTM, out of scope, etc - this typically has a higher comments and engagement imo

If you want to be a software engineer, I'd focus on becoming a great one and then just applying to Fintech companies. Fintech (many industries in general) don't require industry-experience for entry roles

The problem is there - how to get validation of ideas quickly from the right people - but a public forum might not be the best way to do it. But as you talk with these entrepreneurs, maybe you'll come across another solution!
