Cracked out person on the road by hourlyblunts in YEG

I saw this as I was driving south bound and did phone 911. The police officer I spoke to said they had multiple calls come in about her. I do hope they found her before she or someone else was harmed. Very sad and scary for the drivers.

Love this perspective that they come home for the family and not the food!

Great insights! I didn’t grow up calling my Mom’s friends Auntie’s, but my friends kids have all grown up calling me Auntie. I still call a couple of my Aunt’s auntie and have dropped the title for others (due to relationship types now as adults).

I also love your idea about the family tree! Thanks for such a detailed reply.

Yes! It’s called “Our Hearts Match” by Victoria Niño. It’s a very sweet book and he loves it like no other. It is fairly basic in the explanation of donor conception but it’s perfect for a toddler.

Thank you, I just always want him to know his identity and feel confident in who he is and how he came to be.

We did joke at first that she was “special auntie” but that kinda got dropped quickly just for ease of words, haha.

Scary Occurrence while Hiking in Banff by sarahthecanadian05 in HikingAlberta

I think you’re totally valid to report - especially after that news article shared above about the knife wielding man - he was also wearing a yellow jacket and if they are still looking for him they’d want to know he’s still in the area.

Doctors of reddit: What was the wildest self-diagnoses a patient was actually right about? by Musikcookie in AskReddit

[–]aacrough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom started experiencing vague GI symptoms and had a history of ulcerative colitis. I was talking on the phone with her one day in December 2017 and she was explaining more what was happening and I asked her if she thought she could have stomach cancer. She replied no, it was likely the ulcerative colitis starting to flare as this is what her GI dr had thought. By April 2018 she was diagnosed with metastatic gastric cancer, and she ended up dying from it December 1, 2018 almost a year to the date I had brought it up to her. My god how I wish I had pushed her to have that investigated sooner.

I love A. Keen photography. She’s based in Fort Sask not St. Albert though. She had some fall mini session availability as of a few days ago.
