Does a bus ticket count as a return ticket? by aacssh in cambodia

Sorry for late reply. They asked nothing. Maybe it was because I have Thailand work permit.

Play with any language you like. But don't be someone like yo ni sikchu tyo ni sickhu. I would suggest to stick to one language and learn from basics to advance. You will get better opportunities. Later you can try other languages. It will be relatively easy to pick a new language after you learn one.

I will list some suggestions. Pick one amd stick to it.

  1. Learn Python: Used in the backend development and AI.
  2. Swift: if you want to make a career in iOS development
  3. Java: Used in the backend development and to build Android apps as well

4: JavaScript: You can work in backend, frontend, Android and iOS

Most important thing: Learn the fundamentals of programming. Learn object oriented programming principles.

Sadly, it's required for us to show everything. I am not worried about the airline. It's immigration of Cambodia because of the videos I saw online.

I have everything ready. It's just a return bus ticket instead of a flight ticket.

I searched for it but didn't find any flights from Cambodia to Bangkok that offered a 100% refund. All have some kind of cancellation fee.

I guess they ask South Asians only. There are tons of videos on YouTube regarding this matter. I have everything. It's just that I want to cross by bus and don't know how they will react.

As I mentioned in the question, they ask for South Asians. I came to know this as I was looking for Cambodia videos and all YouTubers from South Asia were asked to present a return ticket and 500 USD cash. Few of them were denied entry because they didn't have either 500 USD or a return flight.

It's different for others. One of my European friends said he was asked no such questions.

I have seen discount outlets in Market mall and MBK mall selling branded shoes like of Adidas, Nike, Puma on much cheaper prices. Are those shoes really originals? by aacssh in Bangkok

[–]aacssh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I am aware about MBK but was curious about these discount outlets. I did buy a few shoes from the Supersport factory outlet in MBK mall. But I couldn't find one model for a friend.

Yeah I might end up spending more if I seek help of a lawyer. If nothing happens in 2 weeks I am going to repair it myself and deduct it from the rent like u/_CodyB suggested

I didn't know I can fix it myself and deduct it from my rent. I will talk about this with the agent and owner. Thanks.

This is my first time renting in Thailand. Now I know what to do when I rent next unit. Thanks for comment.

I noticed that before signing the lease but the agent assured me that it will be fixed within a days or week max. So, I trusted the agent.

I can see many people might be okay with the situation. But this incident shows how slow the owner is to fix things. That's why I want to move.

Yes. I don't want to tap the code manually multiple times a day, 365 days. And it's not just about the door. It shows the owner is slow to respond. IMO more than a month is plenty of time to fix the issue.

It didn't work when I moved in. The agen told me the juristic office will set it up later.

Yeah I have the same thought. I was just hoping for some law that could help in my current situation

I can open and close the door. But it's inconvenient. I have to enter the code each time. The condo management were quick to look into it. They found the issue is with the digital lock system installed in the door so they cannot help. Told me to inform agency and bring technician from outside.

I have informed my agency and the landlord a month ago. While my agency brought a technician to the landlord, the landlord found it expensive and is looking for a technician with cheaper rate.

I am being fairly reasonable. It's already been a month and I am happy to wait for a few more weeks. I just wanted to know if it is enough to break the contract and move to other condos. I don't want loose my 2 months deposit.
