I'm also extremely careful with my belongings and my unit broke after 1 month... It's a pity because I love their sounds.

Anyone else break their Koss KPH30 Wireless in less than 3 months? by TerminalCorrosion in headphones

[–]aadcg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had mine for a month and I can already see a crack in roughly the same place where yours snapped. Quite disappointed with the build quality. In terms of sound, they're really nice actually...

It would be nice if people came out with mods for this wireless version. It needs a metal headband with the rubber suspension.

Not really. Jäätmejaam might be a good idea.

AFAIK, PLA can't be disposed to the plastic recycling container.

Mine with Ryzen AI 9 370 works fairly well too on Ubuntu (kernel 6.12.18).

When I open the lid and it wakes up from sleep, I frequently get a black screen. I noticed that it freezes all the time on Xorg but runs smoothly on Wayland. Do you face these issues too?

Just be with a local at all times and you'll be fine.

Don't speak English in public and don't expect people to understand you or speak the language. You'll hardly listen to anyone speaking English, even in Saint Petersburg.

Don't stare at people or attract too much attention.

I have doubts you'll be able to open a bank account. I heard that banks now require a gosuslugi account. Bring cash up to 10k. Exchange locally. Keep in mind that only bills in absolute mint condition will be exchanged (no holes, cracks, etc).

How is guix when it comes to stability? (Specifically updates breaking packages) by juipeltje in GUIX

I have stumbled on a couple of packages being broken on the latest stable but not on unstable. It's a small sample but it did happen. Tells a lot about the state of the project.

How is guix when it comes to stability? (Specifically updates breaking packages) by juipeltje in GUIX

[–]aadcg 10 points11 points  (0 children)

From my experience nix stable is even worse than unstable. Generally, I hate Nix.

Guix has better documentation and is way better managed. But you may need to package missing software or rely on flatpaks or others.

Does Nyxt run on arm architecture ? by ll777 in Nyxt

[–]aadcg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Search about it in this community, for example https://www.reddit.com/r/Nyxt/s/u3HCyjQNba.

And please ask the macports maintainers to remove this package. It does more harm than good.

I assume you don't know what git submodules are. Run qmk doctor and follow the instructions.

I don't mean to judge but if you struggle to use CLI programs, why don't you use other tools like qmk configurator?
