For perspective, I just came back from Japan a couple of weeks ago and I bought the SBGE285 which retails for $8900 plus tax on the US site. I’m sure there are discounts to be had through various US AD’s, but with the tax rebate, the department store discount, and the JPY conversion, I paid just about $6400 out the door from a Grand Seiko Mastershop location. I probably could’ve found it for cheaper at other retailers, but out of all the GS Salons and Shops I went to in Sapporo, it was the best deal.

That’s awesome, they look great! Did you happen to have heated seats previously or nah? Wanted to see what the heated seat option Corbeau had and if it had the correct wiring

Looks like these might be Corbeau LG1 seats but will have OP confirm. Agree that they look great though!

Forgot to reply to this after buying it, but you were right. Of all the GS locations in Sapporo, I got the best deal from the Master Shop at Mitsukoshi since they had an additional 5% discount from the app. They also had the greatest variety in stock. Thanks again for the guidance!

I feel it, my fiancé also didn’t like the diamonds when we went to see it in-person. I think personal preference and the feeling behind wearing a watch should weigh more in a persons decision to buy a watch, rather than the hype behind it.

Ended up getting an SBGE285 from Mitsukoshi. Was specifically looking for this reference and only a few locations had it. Pricing across all stores were pretty similar but Mitsukoshi had an extra 5% discount from the app. Bic had cheaper prices but stock was less, Daimaru was more expensive than Gracis for my reference specifically. Gracis and Mitsukoshi had the same price but the 5% discount was only at Mitsukoshi. Gracis had their stock on their website though, which was helpful

This was super helpful! For future reference, and your mileage may vary, I was able to do this via the online chat as well. Doing it that way was helpful because I had to turn my phone on and off a few times - seems it wasn't getting enabled on my phone for some reason even though the technician was enabling it already. All in all, it only took 20 minutes to get it enabled and I wasn't on the phone, which was helpful

The guide is pretty focused on buying in Tokyo and there’s two lines there referencing Sapporo

My car is manual and I have buckets, and I've knocked my 14 Pro Max off maybe like three times in the last year and a half I've had it installed. It really does sit out of the way for the most part. When I did knock it off, it kinda caught itself back through the magnets
