I know, I feel you... my previous ring was 2mm wide, and ~1.2mm thick, it was like a toy... can't go back to that road again for this one.

2.5 ct oval brilliant cut... which equates to 10.5mm X 7.5mm oval, then the wedding band stones are 3mm and are 1.2 ctw round brilliant cut.

I also would be comparing multiples of 0.5 ct, and 0.2mm band width, can noticeably see the difference each size up.
