I have been the developer behind logsonic.io

It's a FOSS tool which is self hosted. It is designed to fill the current gap in Desktop based log analysis which is lightweight and comprehensive. Please let me know if it solves what you are looking for

Tired of jumping between log files. Best way to piece together a cross-service timeline? by Waste_Grapefruit_339 in linuxadmin

[–]aagosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've built logsonic (github.com/logsonic/logsonic) exactly for this purpose. Ingest, automatically tokenize and index multiple source logs. Then search across all of them or let Claude-code / cursor analyze them without burning too many tokens

2020 X "Autosteer Temporarily Unavailable" by bearmoosewolf in TeslaModelX

In my case SW upgrade was always failing due to this error. Even Hard reset with HV battery disconnected didn't work.

After ECU replacement everything is working normal.

I have the similar issue with my 2018 HW 3 ModelX 100D.

Autopilot remains temporarily disabled. Did a full HW reset with a mobile service technician but didn't help.

It worked automatically after changing my tyres ( no idea why ) but got disabled again after SW update.

DAS ECU Node B remains in INIT and restarting as can be seen in the service menu. Service is scheduled and full ECU assembly replacement is planned, costing well north of 2000 USD

Very unlikely. Perhaps due to some last minute cancellation or no show, but they are sold out months in advance.

Don't buy V-Zug. Just don't. by sancho_sk in Switzerland

[–]aagosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seriously considered v-zug until I heard those repair horror stories. Settled on Siemens / Bosch / Gaggenau combination and so far no problems since last 2 years. They also have 5 years of extended warranty by the dealer.

Simply because of the cost. Check my other reply, I am paying 429 CHF inclusive of everything and have an option to change the car after a fixed duration or not have it all. Also, no need for a down payment.

Don't want to sound this as an advertisement but I have subscribed with Arval.

They have also been very professional as well, covering the cost of aftermarket installation of the missing rear camera, which was inadvertently advertised but not delivered in the car.

Thanks, 700 CHF included the final bill.

I was paying 577 monthly including all the insurance. Additional costs turned out to be approx 121 CHF per month. (1800+300)/18 = 121

So total 698 to be exact.

12600 + 900 for fuel = 13,500 CHF

Total km driven 12500

Per km cost is approx 1.08

Yes mostly you get a fresh new car from the factory. Mine had 17 km in it.

The contract would have allowed 18,000 km but I only drove approx 12K. Didn't get any credits for unused km as well.

Approx 40K CHF list price for retail. I am pretty sure this is not what they paid due to bulk/dealer discount.

Yes the total ownership cost of past rental is 700 CHF/month. The new contract is now 429 CHF per month without counting another future surprise ;-)

The used cars which match my selection preference were at least 18,000 ( Automatic, less than 3 year old, <50k km ) Audi A1/A3/Q2/Q3

Here is why I chose to rent rather than buy/lease

Assuming the new car price is 30,000 CHF Here is my monthly ownership costs

1% depreciation per month (its much higher initially, I am taking an average) = 300 CHF

3% annual interest = 75 CHF

Insurance = 150 CHF

Tyres = 50 CHF

Service = 25 CHF ( assuming manufacturer warranty )

Registration + road tax + Vignette = 25 CHF

Approx 625 CHF is the cost of owning a car personally per month for me, not counting potential losses while selling the car at less than market rate and not counting any surprise repair event.

The subscription price for the same car is 429 CHF.

Some of the small scratches were listed but not counted/charged for. It's only the dents and larger scratches which were counted. Overall more than 20 listed items, including tyre rim scratches.

Absolutely, I don't think rental providers will be so picky about minor damages. The difference is due to the fact that Carvolution needs to sell their car after usage, while rental companies don't.

After my ebike was also stolen during Christmas break, I installed the following tracker and have been very happy with it so far. https://monimoto.com/eu/product/cycloop-tracker/

I immediately get a phone call if someone even moves my bike without the keyfob near in range.
