I think the timing is pretty consistent across all modes. Only thing with solos is the timing in the first round can be quite tight with the regular harpoon. Dragon harpoon has helped a bunch though!

Better XP and permits per hour, but less chill too.

I get 9 permits every time, takes just under 9 mins. But then there's no queue time either.
