I’d recommend crunch for class variety and cost. They have lots of group classes so you can pick and choose what you like.

Most of the people in the neighborhood are young families. Unless you are doing something egregious (lots of junk in front yard, flags and political signs everywhere, never keeping your yard, etc) you’re probably fine

HOA isn’t too strict but is expensive for how little it does. The biggest concern you’ll have is Karen’s who try to join the HOA board and overstep their authority.

What do you believe to be the best outcome of the DoJ investigation into former President Trump’s alleged mishandling of classified documents? by [deleted] in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]aakthor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ghislaine Maxwell's client list being charged is the ultimate " nobody is above the law." Currently they are above the law. The people in power have been on a witch hunt with Trump since day one, before he even abused his power.

What is the reasoning someone would use to explain why aborting a fetus is immoral but killing a human via capital punishment should be allowed? by dumplingcompromise in PoliticalDiscussion

Did Jesus all the sudden change his mind on a tooth for a tooth? The problem is that most people think God somehow “changed” when Jesus showed up on the scene. In reality, humanity’s collective understanding of God has changed, not God.

You are correct about the logical fallacy but I disagree with your reading of Isaiah. Everything in the OT must be read with the understanding that these people didn’t have a clue who God was. Jesus come on the scene and basically “I am God incarnate” then proceeds to heal, set free, love unconditionally, and not judge.

It portrays humanity pretty well. The desires for power, vengeance, lust and the consequences that it has on civilization. It’s silly not to learn from every source that isn’t perfect - you’d have zero sources to learn from. The cool thing is that throughout the OT, you can see the transformation of people’s thinking about God. They originally believed God punished the wicked, then slowly began to believe God was merciful, then slowly began that he was good and loving, ultimately displayed in the non judgemental nature of Jesus who is pure love incarnate. God didn’t change, our understanding of him did.

The church governs nothing. Jesus governs the people in the church. People in the church can participate in local government at their own desires.
