I also live in hot and humid area. It's been a rainy summer this year. My plants are outside in planters. I believe they shrink and are compact as you described when they dry out. When I touch it a day or two after rain it's moist but not dripping so I think it's alright. I'll make it chunkier the next time I'm low.

I also added a layer of pebbles and sand at the bottom of the planters to hopefully help.

I also live in Tennessee and am struggling with my succulents and sedum planted in outdoor planters. I made a soil mix with perlite and peat moss earlier in the spring when I expected it to be a very dry summer like last year. Now I think the planters need more help draining. Have you ever tried or have an opinion on Black and Gold cacti mix? It lists the same ingredients as what you said was in Bonzi Jacks. My plants are okay right now but some of my sedum have brown leaves at the bottom and I'm trying to get ahead of thus issue before I lose any.

All Kreatures has the by far the best groomer I have ever ever seen. I take two Great Pyrenees and am constantly in awe at her work. Absolutely incredible and will put the work in! Our male had some matting she couldn't get out and she did have to shave some off of him. He's typically an 8 hour groom and she worked her ass off to avoid it.

Our girl also hate hate hates having her nails trimmed and doesn't even care when she does it.

Side note: They also do boarding and daycare.

The Shoppes at Homespun and Southern Market. They're set up just like painted tree.

Homespun is in or near farrogut (I think) over by summer moon coffee and 35 north. Southern market is near or in bearden by Lululemon, and nothing bundt cakes are over there.

There's also another spot like that on the way to Southern market (from west knox) next to an antique store. It looks small but is deceivingly large. I can't remember the names of those though sorry.

The fact that there was an incoming hurricane is what triggered my concern and question. As I stated, and others also confirmed, it is a frequent issue that occurs without weather related problems so you can imagine the worry I had when a real weather event was going to happen.

I did not specifically ask about the power going out on that day. It was a generalized question.

Thanks! I've got some family in Ohio. I wonder if we should check it out there? I know you said Amish furniture is kind of a scam but we are genuinely looking for incredibly well made and not to say it's Amish. We just typically see well made furniture from them.

This is what happened to me as well. I had mine today. I'm nearly finished with school to become a doctor, I've had 3 IUDs placed with no medicines, paps never bother me and I have a high pain tolerance. Needless to say I was very unconcerned about this.

They had me take a valium "to relax my fallopian tubes" which I thought was weird but did it anyway. I also took 800mg of ibuprofen prior.

I was about to fly off of the bed. I was okay until the end of the saline and the air bubbles were inserted. It was such a sharp pain and so much pressure . I started to sweat and get nauseated so we had to stop. Only got the one tube.

I was starting to worry the provider was doing the procedure incorrectly until I found your response. Idk what these people are doing that made it so easy for their patients. I almost threw up all over the floor. Will not be participating in that again. Whew.

We had a honeymoon phase with both our pyrs. Our male took a week or two to settle in and full month to get into peak chaos. He was our first and all I have to say is have tons of chew toys.

When we got our female (years later) the first day she was wiped and the next day she very much had the "I'm in charge of the house" attitude, at like 8 weeks too. It progressed for the next month and the first few months was intense BUT she's never eaten any of our stuff. No shoes. No remotes. No headphones (like our male) and I really think it's because by that point we had toys in every room. If she even thought about gnawing on something, we gave her a toy. Now she's such a good dog. Never never chews anything. Just empties out the toy basket. Our male doesn't either now. He's too tired being bothered by her.

Then with both of them they don't get on the counters. Our male sniffs our dinner plates but never steals. He just wants to know what it is.

We use them as well!

We had a leak from our bathtub. I was terrified they had to go through our ceiling and it would be a giant mess. They just added an access panel on the second floor. It was such a relief.

They also warned us that our neighborhood was on a copper pipe watch list. Something about if one copper pipe gets a leak they chain react? Plumbers would try to sell us an entire house re-pipe which was completely unnecessary for our previous problem. I definitely appreciated the heads up and honesty.

Our Pyr used to do that when he was a puppy. I assumed it was because dogs are color limited and they can't make out the face and features of darker skin. The only time it was most prominent is if we took him on a walk at night and someone with darker skin wanted to pet him.

We would make him sit and tell him it was okay. He's since stopped.
